Your move, explained: meet the AI move briefing
The AI move briefing explains your specific move in three short paragraphs - built from your onboarding answers, never your personal details. Privacy-first by design, with honest fallbacks.
A moving checklist tells you what to do. The new AI move briefing tells you why your move, specifically, looks the way it does - in three short paragraphs at the top of your dashboard.
If you own your home in New Jersey with two cars, kids and a dog, your briefing talks about transferring school records, the vehicle re-registration window, and the homeowner-to-homeowner insurance handoff. If you rent alone with no car, it skips all of that and gets straight to your landlord notice and address changes. Same product, different move - because the inputs are different.
Where the information comes from: the answers you give during onboarding (household, ownership, vehicles, dates) and the move you are planning. That is also why the onboarding now explains, step by step, what each answer improves - better data in, better briefing out.
What never leaves your account: your name, your email, your exact street address. The briefing is generated from coarse signals only - state-level location, household shape, days until the move. The output is display-only guidance, never a decision made on your behalf.
Practical details: each briefing links straight into the actions it mentions (tap 'set up internet' and you land on internet providers for your address, not a generic menu). Briefings refresh when your move actually changes, with a daily cap so the feature stays fast and affordable. And if the AI is ever unavailable, a rule-based summary quietly takes its place - the card never goes blank.
The AI move briefing is part of Individual, Family and Pro plans, on web and mobile.
